As the only county hospital in the Birmingham Metro area, we provide both inpatient and outpatient services, offering a complete range of health care services for the residents of Jefferson County so we can provide quality care for all of your healthcare needs. At Cooper Green Mercy Hospital, we have been nationally recognized for our three Centers of Excellence: The Balm of Gilead, St. George's Clinic.
In addition to the clinics located in the Medical Center District, Cooper Green also operates two primary care clinics based in the community. These are located in Forestdale and Southtown.
Cooper Green Mercy Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization which is the nation’s predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

Urban Art 2010
The Tenth Annual Urban Art Celebration is scheduled for November 4, 2010, 6:00pm - 9:00pm, at the Alabama Theater in downtown Birmingham. Funds raised through this event will be used to support many different areas of the hospital including Oncology, Radiology, and Diabetes. Learn More>>
