We appreciate your interest in a position here at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital.  We are a part of Jefferson County, Alabama government, and as such the great majority of our jobs are classified under the Civil Service System.  All classified jobs must be applied for through the Jefferson County Personnel Board.

There are some entry-level and seasonal jobs that are unclassified positions, which must be applied for through the Jefferson County Department of Human Resources. Unclassified job vacancies are advertised in the media and applications are available in the Human Resources Department, Room A670.  The Human Resources Department recruits and fills administrative intern positions in collaboration with the Jefferson County Personnel Board.
