Welcome to Cooper Green Mercy Hospital Jefferson Outpatient Care. Our first priority is you, so please allow us to take a few minutes to give you some very important information that will help ensure that you have the best possible experience during your visit at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital.
Our goal at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital is to assure that our clinics give you the most appropriate and specialized medical attention.

- Clinic A provides care associated with General Medicine
- Clinic B includes Ophthalmology, Dermatology and ENT services.
- Clinic C specializes in total Obstetric and Gynecological care.
- Clinic D cares for patients with needs related to Surgery, Orthopedics, Rheumatology, Genitourinary care, Podiatry, Neurology and Renal diagnoses.
- Clinic E is our Specialty Clinic that serves patients who have a specific diseases {acute & chronic} disorders and malignancies.
- Pain Management Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to pain management.
- St. Georges Clinic is our comprehensive outpatient clinical program for HIV infected persons.
We have two {2} Outpatient Care Centers serving the community through Jefferson Health System:
Our clinics operate Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. The clinics are closed on holidays and weekends.
Upon arriving at the clinic for your appointment, please visit the first desk to receive a number and arrival time. You will soon be called according to your assigned clinic.
There are many ways our clinics can help you maintain good health. For example, we can provide valuable information on Diabetes and its complications, and tips on how to be active, eat a proper diet and prevent or manage the disease.
We accept all major insurance policies including Blue Cross, Medicare, Medicaid, VIVA,United Healthcare, and others. If you do not have insurance then the County may be able to provide financial assistance for your healthcare needs through our Health First Program. Our goal is to be the hospital of choice for all residents of Jefferson County {regardless of ability to pay}.
If you do NOT have insurance, you must enroll in the Health First Program before receiving any medical or pharmacy services at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital, so please plan ahead.
Our enrollment counselors here at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital are looking forward to assisting you. They can answer any questions you may have regarding Health First enrollment, the first step to excellent healthcare for you and your family.
The Enrollment Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm. If you are unable to come during those hours, please call (205) 930-3377 for an appointment.
