CLINIC D
Jefferson Outpatient Care Clinic D provides professional Ambulatory Care to patients that require the services of specialists for specific health conditions. Within Clinic D, the following specialties are provided:
v General Surgery
§ Clinic is open Tuesday & Thursday Morning and Afternoon & Friday Morning only.
§ Includes Breast Aspirations, Wound Packing and Minor Surgery.
§ Toenail Care, Treatment of Diabetic and Stasis Leg and Foot Ulcers are provided by the SA/PA.
§ Flexible Sigmoidoscopic examinations to screen for colon disorders are done on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
v Neurology
§ Neurological evaluations for our patients are done on Friday afternoon.
v Orthopedics
§ Operates on Monday and Wednesday.
§ Services provided include evaluations, casting and splinting as needed and scheduling of surgery.
§ Service is offered on Wednesday morning for patients referred from the Emergency Department with Traumatic Hand Injuries.
§ Plastic Surgery procedures are also provided.
v Podiatry
§ Operates on Monday through Friday.
§ Services provided include evaluations and treatment for Diabetic and Non-Diabetic foot problems.
§ Common conditions of the foot seen: Ingrown toenail, Bunion, Hammertoes, Corn & Calluses, Fungus, Heel pain, Neuroma, Diabetic toenail and ulcer problems.
v Nephrology
§ Operates on Thursday afternoons to evaluate and provide follow-up care for patients with renal disorders.
§ Patients may come in on Monday through Thursday mornings to have their lab specimens collected.
v Rheumatology
§ Diagnostic Tests and Therapeutic Procedures such as joint aspirations and injections are done.
v Urology
§ Operates on Monday & Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings.
§ Evaluation, treatment & diagnostic procedures are provided.
